Daniel's New Haircut

As you can see in this picture from a couple of weeks ago, Daniel was in need of a haircut. But the last time we brought him to the hairdresser, he screamed his head off the entire time and we went home with a terribly crooked cut. So, we decided to buzz his head ourselves. The result follows:

Scott loves it because he thinks Daniel looks even more like him now! I think he looks adorable, but he looks so much younger again!

A Beautiful Fall Day

Here is an example of why Scott and I think that Daniel is destined to be the class clown one day. Scroll slowly through the pictures of the boys playing in their house:

Daniel was well-aware that he would end up on his head if he leaned out the window.
Yet, he continued to do it!

Nicholas in his Glasses

Doesn't he look like the little boy from Jerry McGuire?
He is too cute!

Early October

We picked up Nicholas' glasses today. He has to wear his glasses all day and the patch for 1 hour a day. While he wears the patch, one of us has to hold him and hold his hands down so that he does not rip the patch off. We have always called him our little professor because he studies things so carefully. Now he looks like a professor, too!

Daniel loves to lounge on the Elmo couch with his bottle.

Jack does his homework at his little table each day. We have to keep the babies away from him because they are way too interested in what he is doing!

Jack learned about "that guy who was in the boat for a long time."

New for Nicholas

Nicholas went to the eye doctor this week because we have been noticing his left eye turning in lately. He needs to wear a patch on his right eye for 1 hour per day to strengthen the muscles in his left eye. He hates wearing it! We can't wait until next week when he starts wearing his glasses!

Apple and Pumpkin Picking Adventure

We went apple and pumpkin picking out in Cutchogue today. We rode a tractor to the field to do our picking. Of course, since the babies are new at walking with shoes on, we had to bring our wagon for them. That means that we had to carry our wagon onto the tractor. Then, on the tractor ride back we had to carry: 2 babies, a diaper bag, a bag of apples, a medium sized pumpkin, and the wagon. Needless to say, it was a long exhausting day! But it was a beautiful, crisp autumn day, spent together. We all had lots of fun!

This is outside our house before we left for the farm.
The babies wore matching skeleton sweat suits.
